What is FCCLA?

FCCLA is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as the central focus. Participation in state and national programs and chapter activities help members become strong leaders in family, careers and communities.

Who can join?

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national Career and Technical Student Organization for young men and women enrolled in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private schools, through grade 12.

Where can I join?

Talk to your school's FCS teacher and ask if there is a local chapter. If not, ask your teacher if they would like to be an advisor and create a new chapter.

What can FCCLA do for you?

With FCCLA, youth learn how to make a difference in their families, communities, and future careers. Members learn important life skills such as leadership, planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication!

FCCLA Strategic Goals

1. Promote FCCLA as the premier youth leadership organization.

2. Refine and Strengthen services and resources for stakeholders.

3. Expand and Invest in internal and external relations.
