With deep roots in the Shallowater community, Aaron Morris prides himself on his commitment to the success and empowerment of our students.
The Morris family roots run deep in Shallowater. Aaron’s grandfather was a principal in the district and his three daughters are 4th generation Shallowater students. His father was an All-State football player and head basketball coach for almost 30 years and Aaron and his brothers were standout student-athletes throughout the 2000s.
Aaron believes that the focus should be shifted back toward the kids. He knows the district needs to adapt and plan accordingly for the growth of Shallowater students which means hiring and retaining the best educators possible. With Aaron, there are no hidden agendas or politics - he is here 100% for the kids and the educators. He knows that building a strong team starts from the ground up.
Aaron has been the president of Shallowater Youth Basketball for the last five years and loves getting to coach his three girls - Kambell, Kennedi and Karter. An Avid sports fan, Aaron not only enjoys being on the court with his girls, but taking in any game around him. Aaron, his wife Sarah, and their three girls enjoy Sunday mornings at Hillside Christian Church, visiting the lake in the summer and their precious dog, Lola.
