I have a true passion for the city of Shallowater and Shallowater ISD specifically. I want to help guide the coming growth of Shallowater ISD. My family has been involved in education for over 40 years. I am a former educator and coach, and I thoroughly enjoy the education process.

I would like to see a $50 million bond pass May 7, 2022 and continue to see the district prepare for the imminent growth that is coming. It is important to maintain our High Standard of Excellence across all aspects of our school district including academics, athletics, band, theater, agriculture, and fine arts. I would also like to ensure teachers and students have all the necessary resources needed to thrive in all academic areas.

I am a former teacher and coach. I have learned about the education system from a young age. I watched my own father in the roles of teacher, coach, principal and superintendent, and he taught me how to build relationships with others. I genuinely understand how school districts work, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for all of those involved. I am a current business owner responsible for staff and maintaining finances. I have previously or am currently, serving in a number of leadership roles within the community including Shallowater Education Foundation Board Member( 2013-2018), Shallowater Citizens Advisory Committee (Bond) Co-Chair (2021-2022), AD/Head FB Coach Hiring Committee Member (2021).
