HS Art Display

Students from High School Wood Shop and Art classes will have their work displayed at the High School. The gallery is open to the public May 13th through May 17th. Click here to look at these works of ART online!

Jenna Willer recently returned from a trip to Fort Worth where she participated in the Bluebonnet Award Luncheon held in conjunction with the Texas Library Association's Annual Conference. Jenna was one of only ten children throughout Texas chosen to present this year's award honoring former Caldecott Medal winning author, Simms Taback. Speaking in front of approximately 2000 people can be intimidating but Jenna did an outstanding job representing Shallowater Intermediate School and our entire community. Jenna is shown with the editor of Penguin Books, Nancy Paulsen.
